Komperdell has been making ski and trekking poles in Austria since 1922. They became one of the world's largest ski pole manufacturers in the early 1930's, and made the first metal ski pole in 1948. Komperdell makes a number of different trekking poles. The Titanal Series poles feature shafts made from Titanal HF aluminum alloy. This material has a very high density, which allows for smaller tube diameters without sacrificing strength. The Titanal series has three different models (with a mens and womens option for each); The Komperdell Contour Titanal, the Vibra Plus Titanal, and the Titanal Power Lock. The Carbon C3 Series features three different models; the C3 Carbon Lock, the C3 Duolock, and the C3 Airshock. All Three are made of 100% carbon, which is extremely light and strong. The Komperdell Basics Series has five different models. All are made of Aluminum 7075. The Komperdell Wild Rambler is one of the best selling Komperdell trekking poles.
